HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT THE BLACK LIVES MATTER MOVEMENT IN AUSTRALIA
From petitions to protests and more.

Following the tragic murder of George Floyd in the U.S., who died a victim of police brutality, Black Lives Matter protests have been taking place in cities across the world to demand justice for his passing.
As a result of the movement—which was originally founded in 2013—gaining worldwide momentum, it has rightfully widened the discourse to shed light on the acts of police brutality and racial violence towards Indigenous Australians within our own country.
And while many of us have felt helpless in outrage, there are things we can do—and must do—to both stand with Indigenous Australians, and in solidarity with the U.S., supporting the wider Black Lives Matter movement.
