Affectionately known as ‘Denchy’, he is a regular performer in the Sydney and Australian music scene and has worked with many well respected Australian and international musicians and artists, including:
Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy, Samantha Jade, Timomatic, John Williamson, Boney M, The Real Thing, Ebi Hamedi, Kate Miller Heidke, Paulini and Shannon Noll.
As a composer and orchestrator, he has written and arranged music for TV shows such as ‘So You Think You Can Dance Australia’ and ‘Australia’s Got Talent’. He has orchestrated for the FGYO, NSYO and TOPS orchestras, for the Adelaide Cabaret Festival Gala and Hats Off 2013-2015.
As a musical director, Michael has lead the orchestra for Hats Off 2015. He served as the musical director for The Gaia Rhythm Show, as well as the internationally acclaimed dance show, ‘The Tap Pack’.
Michael is also the key creative behind SSJ’s popular popular offering The Piano Bar an interactive and unique form of entertainment brought to you in your own living room or private occassion.
As a key member of The SSJ Group, Denchy often arranges and produces music with the band, and is elemental in their infectious sound and repertoire.
